Specifications |
Consists of 3-axis electric-field multi-probes The probe extracts SAR values within 3–4 seconds after being mounted. The head phantom and the terminal support provide a measurement environment that allows the DUT to be mounted identically as in certification tests. The touch and 15-degree tilt are measured. The shapes of the right and left parts of the head phantom and the specifications of the torso phantom follow IEC 62209-1. A broadband phantom solution (800 MHz–3 GHz) is used as the solution in the phantom, and the phantom can be exchanged. Characteristics of the 3-axis electric-field probe Measurement frequency: 300 MHz–3 GHz Dynamic range: 0.01–100 W/kg Angular response: < ± 0.2 dB (isotropy) Distance between measuring probes and measurement area: 15 mm or less, at least 9 cm x 16.5 cm The probes inside the torso phantom are arranged in two dimensions at intervals not exceeding 15 mm, and the measurement area is at least 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm. Dynamic range of the amplifier: 0.01–100 W/kg Measurement frequency: Mobile-communication terminal frequency (300 MHz–3 GHz) Measurement precision: Within ±1 dB validation Measurement speed: 1 g and 10 g SAR values are extracted within 3–4 seconds after completion of mounting. Repetitive sample-mounting placement speed: No longer than 10 seconds Reproducibility of mounting location: Less than 1 mm Software: Ver 2.0 Measures in conjunction with the base station simulator equipment owned by RRA through GPIB The measurement band and channels are set, and the base station simulator makes calls to measure three channels in about 10 seconds. The software supports the statistical program functions and supports SAR dispersion analysis by extracting the measurement results. Hardware for system operation: 1 laptop CPU: At least Pentium Dual-Core Cache memory: 256 kB RAM: At least 4 GB Graphic card: At least Geforce2 HDD: At least 100 GB LAN card: 100 Mbps Perfectly compatible with SAR measurement operation S/W At least Windows XP Components 1 x GPIB-to-USB interface 1 x RS-232c-to-USB cable Calibration: Calibrates the entire band of domestic mobile-phone commercial frequencies Maintenance: 1 year Support similar to the measurement environment of the regular SAR measurement equipment Improved measurement accuracy using SAM left and right phantoms Improved measurement precision by applying the terminal-mounting method used in the regular SAR measurement equipment Touch and 15-degree tilt position measurement Measurement in conjunction with Agilent 8960 (wireless communication test set) equipment through GPIB The measurement frequency band and channels are set, and the station simulation device makes calls to measure three channels within 10 seconds.
